Illinois judges are increasingly being recognized for their dedicated work in courtrooms throughout the state. Here are some of the recent honors received by Illinois judges:

  • Cook County Circuit Court Judge Renee Goldfarb will be honored on May 28, 2026, by the Illinois Jewish Judges Association at their Annual Installation and Awards Dinner as the recipient of the Ilana Diamond Rovner Lifetime Achievement Award.
  • 20th Judicial Circuit Judge Zina Cruse was honored on May 1, 2026, by the St. Clair County Bar Association at their Annual Law Day Breakfast as the recipient of the Richard Hudlin Award, which is awarded to an attorney or judge who demonstrates exceptional commitment to community service and charity to the people of St. Clair County.
  • Supreme Court Justice Elizabeth Rochford was honored on May 14, 2026, as the recipient of several awards by the Illinois State Bar Association, including a Presidential Commendation, at the ISBA's Annual Awards Ceremony held at the Morton Arboretum. Also honored at the event was Judicial Marshal Megan Brooks who was the recipient of the Law Enforcement Award.
